Netflix Faces Downfall Over Transgender Content
In the last few weeks, Netflix has lost over $25 billion in market value as Elon Musk and others have championed the growing “Cancel Netflix” movement, urging consumers to protest the company’s promotion of transgender ideology in children’s content.
For many years, Netflix has been among the leading media platforms advancing woke transgender narratives that encourage young viewers to celebrate those who identify as “non-binary” or transgender and to believe that parents and others must affirm them in their self-perception.
U.S. Supreme Court Hears Colorado Censorship Case
Yesterday, the U.S. Supreme Court heard arguments in Chiles v. Salazar—a case with significant implications for children, families, and the future of free speech in medicine. This issue is important not only for pediatricians but for everyone who values protecting the right of doctors and counselors to speak the truth and provide real help to hurting children.
James Campbell of the ADF argued for petitioner, challenging Colorado’s 2019 “Minor Conversion Therapy Law,” which censors mental health professionals by forbidding even voluntary conversations when a child seeks help to feel at peace with their biological sex.
Concerning Links Between Gender Ideology and Violence
Recent incidents involving shootings by young individuals who identify as transgender have raised concern among experts about potential links between the accumulation of mental health issues, the use of cross-sex hormones, and radicalization among individuals struggling with gender dysphoria.
Transgender ideology that fosters a victim-versus-oppressor mindset, compounded by disturbing social media influence and radical political rhetoric, appears to drive these troubling trends. The report highlights the urgent need for thoughtful discussion on addressing the intersection of gender identity and violence.
