UC Mandates Transgender Ideology Class This Fall
The University of California has launched a new mandatory SHAPE training program requiring all students to affirm transgender-related policies or face registration blocks if they fail the assessment.
The training defines misgendering, “dead-naming,” and objections to opposite-sex bathroom use as behaviors that can create a “hostile environment.” Although UC officials say students are not penalized for how they answer individual questions, they must still score 100% to avoid losing access to class registration.
This program as ideological coercion that punishes students who hold biblical or biological views on sex and gender.
First Openly Trans Lawmaker Admits to Child Sex-Exploitation Charges
Stacie-Marie Laughton, the first openly trans-identified male elected to a U.S. state legislature, pleaded guilty to three federal counts of sexual exploitation of children.
Prosecutors said he received explicit nauseating images of children as young as three from his former partner, and and exchanged thousands of text messages about them. He now faces up to 30 years in prison, along with potential lifetime supervision and heavy fines. His sentencing is scheduled for February.
Supreme Court Allows Passport Ban On Gender Marker Changes
In a 6-3 decision, with the three liberal justices dissenting, the U.S. Supreme Court allowed the Trump administration to enforce a policy that stops individuals who identify as transgender or non-binary from selecting passport sex markers that align with their self-identification, instead requiring the marker to reflect their biological sex.
The State Department changed its passport rules following a January executive order declaring that the United States would “recognize two sexes, male and female,” based on birth certificates and “biological classification.”
The SCOTUS decision pauses a lower-court injunction that has allowed self-identification contrary to biological reality.
Transgender Identity is a Social Construct, NOT Biological Reality
After facing professional backlash in 2020 for citing data on the surge in gender dysphoria among teenage girls, Colin Wright defends the “social contagion” theory as a valid explanation for the rapid rise in transgender identification.
Wright confronts activists’ claims that gender identity is innate and argues that “nonbinary” labels reflect social and cultural trends rather than biological traits, and that claims of an immutable gender identity lack credible scientific evidence. He relies on recent data that points to a decline in transgender identification.
