Allies and friends,

We have had a busy week with our annual conference equipping physicians and medical students with expertise in compassionate, evidence-based pediatric care. We had the privilege of having Miriam Grossman, MD as the keynote, discussing her book, Lost in Trans Nation.

During the past week, some major news broke regarding transgender ideology issues. First, in a huge step in the right direction, Iowa removed “Gender Identity” as a protected class. Second, a new study found that people who underwent transgender surgery were at significantly higher risk for depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, and drug addiction than those without surgery. Physical changes do not change the underlying issues that cause gender dysphoria, and it’s those root issues that need to be addressed. We hope that as studies continue to show the mental health harms of transgender surgeries, there will be new protocols put in place that will protect both the physical and mental health of patients with gender dysphoria.

Highlights from our Annual Conference (MBEC 2025)

Over two hundred medical professionals gathered at MBEC 2025 in Orlando, FL—an annual conference dedicated to advocating for biological integrity and the lives of preborn children.

ACPeds is a co-host of the conference and had the privilege of equipping physicians and medical students with expertise in compassionate, evidence-based pediatric care.

Our keynote speaker was Miriam Grossman, MD, author of the powerful book Lost in Trans Nation. Dr. Grossman provides invaluable insights into the madness of transgender ideology.

An interview with Dr. Grossman will be available soon on Biological Integrity’s social media outlets.

HUGE WIN: Iowa Removes ‘Gender Identity’ as a Protected Class

On Friday, Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds signed SF418, a bill that removes the promotion of ‘gender identity’ from school curricula in the state, defines biological truth about sex, and protects women’s sports.

Ultimately, the legislation acknowledges that gender identity is a feeling and that the Civil Rights Code is normally about immutable characteristics based on truth.
