Ninth Circuit Blocks California Sex-Rejecting Interventions Secrecy Law

The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals has issued a preliminary injunction blocking key provisions of California’s AB 1955, a law that restricted school districts from adopting policies requiring parental notification when a child chooses to self-identify as the opposite sex at school.

The court relied on the U.S. Supreme Court’s recent ruling in Mirabelli v. A CALL TO ACTION: Tell Congress to Keep Planned Parenthood Defunded!

With the passage of the One Big Beautiful Bill last year, the pro-life and pro-family movements achieved a significant victory: the federal defunding of Planned Parenthood—one of America’s largest providers of sex-rejecting procedures and services. However, this defunding was only for one year, and will expire on July 4.

Although time is short, Congress still has the opportunity to pursue a continued defunding solution. This is where we need you!

Contact your Members of Congress today! Tell them you support the continued defunding of Planned Parenthood because you do not want your tax dollars paying for abortions and sterilizing sex-rejecting interventions!

Did you know that nearly 450 (80%) of Planned Parenthood clinics offer sex-rejecting interventions, which is more than the number of locations that offer abortion services!

Rady Children’s Resumes Sex-Rejecting Interventions Under Court Order

Earlier this year, Rady Children’s Hospital in Orange County announced it was ending sex-rejecting interventions following an executive order and a December 2025 announcement by the HHS. Earlier this month, the hospital agreed to resume providing chemical and surgical sex-rejecting interventions for minors while a lawsuit brought by the California Attorney General moves forward.

The agreement follows a court order requiring the hospital to continue offering these procedures under the terms of a prior merger agreement with the state. Hospital leadership is caught between conflicting state and federal directives, and the legal dispute will continue as the court considers the underlying claims.

AFL Sues Fairfax Schools Over Parental Rights

America First Legal has filed a federal lawsuit against Fairfax County Public Schools, alleging that the district’s policies unlawfully conceal students’ social transitions from parents.

The lawsuit argues that school staff facilitate changes to students’ names, pronouns, and other aspects of gender identity at school without parental knowledge or consent, violating parents’ constitutional rights and federal law. The organization is seeking to block enforcement of the policies and restore parents’ access to information about their children’s education and well-being.

Gender Ideology Took Over Children’s Books

Journalist Andrew Doyle highlights a new report by SEEN in Publishing examining the influence of transgender activism in children’s literature and library services. The report argues that publishers, librarians, and educators have prioritized promoting books that present gender ideology to young children while marginalizing traditional voices within the industry.

Doyle argues that age-appropriate standards should guide children’s literature and calls for greater examination of materials that address gender identity. He concludes that protecting children requires prioritizing classical and evidence-based education without ideological influence.
