Allies and friends,
Momentum is shifting nationwide as major institutions respond to new federal policies and regulations related to biological sex and the treatment of gender-dysphoric youth. This week:
The University of Pennsylvania has agreed to relieve Lia Thomas of women’s swimming titles and revise its policies to ensure only biological females may compete—restoring fairness under updated Title IX guidance.
California, in contrast, is defying federal directives by refusing to bar biological males from girls’ sports and reaffirming its “trans-inclusive” policies—setting the stage for a likely legal battle with the Department of Justice.
Stanford Medicine has officially suspended sex-rejecting surgeries for minors, joining a growing number of hospitals reevaluating radical interventions on children in light of increased awareness and evidence against them.
Sincerely,
The Biological Integrity Team

Biological Reality Restored at UPenn
The University of Pennsylvania has reached a settlement with the U.S. Department of Education mandating that it will relieve Lia Thomas’s titles and records from its women’s swimming program, issue apologies to impacted female athletes, and revise its policies to restrict participation strictly to biological females.
This policy shift, under updated Title IX guidelines, restores fair opportunities in collegiate sports and affirms sound biological reality.
California Refuses to Comply with Title IX
California has firmly refused to comply with the Administration’s demand to bar biological men identifying as transgender from girls’ school sports. State officials rejected an OCR conclusion under Title IX that California violated girls’ rights.
California’s Department of Education and the state’s Interscholastic Federation reaffirmed support for “trans‑inclusive policies” originally adopted in 2013, setting the stage for imminent legal action from the Department of Justice.
Stanford Medicine Suspends Sex-Rejecting Surgeries
As of June 2, Stanford Medicine has suspended harmful sex-rejecting surgeries for patients under 19, following a “careful review of the latest actions and directives from the federal government.”
While surgical procedures are halted, the university’s Pediatric and Adolescent Gender Clinic will continue to provide hormone therapy and puberty blockers under its guidelines for “gender-affirming care.”
