As we witness numerous federal changes and actions following the change in administration, we can celebrate the significant overturn of many transgender policies. Notably, major hospitals began to suspend surgical interventions on minors. We anticipate this will continue to be the case across the country, as hospitals will stop receiving funding for transgender surgeries.
Trump’s earlier executive order, which reaffirms the biological definition of sex, has faced significant pushback from liberal activists, who argue that gender identity—not biology—determines a person’s sex. This ideology extends to advocating for a citizen’s ability to alter their birth certificate, a practice currently allowed in 44 states. Colin Wright urges the government to address this issue and overturn such policies.
Yesterday, another executive order was signed to keep men out of women’s sports. This is another major step in defining the boundaries between the two genders and protecting women’s dignity and safety. This policy will impact educational and athletic institutions.
While changes are occurring at the federal level, much remains to be uncovered regarding state and independent policies that have been influenced by these ideologies. Our country needs greater awareness!

Hospitals Begin to Suspend Transgender Interventions
Following an executive order issued by President Trump to rigorously enforce laws prohibiting or limiting chemical and surgical interventions on minors, at least 4 major hospitals in New York, Virginia, Colorado, and Washington, D.C., have already suspended these destructive and life-altering procedures.
Urge to Ban Birth Certificate Altering
Earlier, President Trump signed an executive order affirming that sex is immutable and defined by reproductive biology. However, activists argue that biological definitions are insufficient in determining identity.
This raises an issue, as these arguments are used to justify altering sex markers on birth certificates based on gender identity. Such changes conceal biological reality and threaten policies that protect women’s spaces. By prohibiting these alterations, Trump can protect the integrity of birth certificates and ensure that biology remains separate from political ideology.
Keeping Men Out of Women’s Sports
Yesterday, another executive order has been signed, aimed at prohibiting men from competing in women’s sports. The goal is not only to uphold athletic fairness but, more importantly, to protect women’s safety and dignity. This action will require educational institutions and athletic associations that have allowed men to compete in women’s sports to end these practices.
Over $1 billion Spent on LGBTQ Research
According to the Daily Caller, over the past 10 years, the Sexual and Gender Minority Research Office (SGMRO)—a controversial branch of the NIH—has received significant funding for ‘sexual and gender minority’ research, including experimental studies on child sex interventions. The pharmaceuticals used in these studies have unknown long-term effects, yet this does not appear to concern the researchers.
