As the woke culture continues to push for transgender ideology, it is more evident than ever that actively speaking the truth and upholding biological integrity is both vital and impactful.
This week, we reflect on two pediatric institutions—the American College of Pediatricians (ACPeds) and the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP)—standing in complete opposition when it comes to core principles, approach, and values.
Members of ACPeds have been at the forefront of legislative efforts, boldly testifying before courts in defense of biological reality and the protection of minors. Dr. Jane Anderson presented before the Kansas State Legislature in a case against gender interventions, while Dr. Jill Simons and Dr. Quentin Van Meter testified before the Minnesota Legislature in support of protecting female sports in educational institutions.
In contrast, the AAP—while claiming to prioritize the health and well-being of all children—continues to follow a progressive, ideological agenda, disregarding credible research that exposes the harms of transgender affirmation. By prioritizing political influence over medical integrity, the academy has compromised the very principles that should guide pediatric care.
At ACPeds, our Biological Integrity team remains steadfast in our commitment to objective scientific truth. We refuse to be swayed by cultural and political pressures, and we will continue to uphold moral and ethical standards in the care of all children and adolescents.

Last week, Dr. Jane Anderson, along with many like-minded individuals, testified before the Kansas State Legislature against transgender interventions.

Last Wednesday, two ACPeds representatives, Dr. Jill Simons and Dr. Quentin Van Meter, testified before the Minnesota Legislature in support of a bill that would restrict female sports to biological females.
AAPalling Approach to Pediatric Care
The corruption of the AAP has gone too far. Under the guise of ‘inclusion and the well-being of all children’, it continues to promote truly harmful measures of the woke agenda.
‘Having long indulged in partisan political posturing and repeatedly ignored scientific fact in the service of ideology, the American Academy of Pediatrics has no integrity left to compromise,’ writes Christina Rosen, senior fellow at the American Enterprise Institute.
The Fight is Not Over
Nathanael Blake reminds us that the goal of gender ideology is to demand the destruction of clear language and thought. This is why transgender identities must not be given recognition or legitimacy in law and culture.
‘Thus, we must not weary of the battle before it is won,’ he calls on us to continue standing up for truth in this fight.
