Rep. Bob Onder Reintroduces The Chloe Cole Act
The “Chloe Cole Act” was reintroduced in the U.S. Congress by Missouri Rep. Bob Onder, aiming to prohibit health care professionals from performing chemical and surgical sex-rejecting interventions on minors. The bill would also allow legal action against providers who carry out these interventions on minors.
The legislation states, “No health care professional, hospital, or clinic shall…participate in the chemical or surgical mutilation of a child” for the purpose of “halting the natural development of the individual’s body” or “changing the individual’s body to no longer correspond to the individual’s sex.”
ACPeds strongly supports this bill and advocates for a total ban on such procedures across all 50 states.
Sage Blair Honored by President Trump At The State of the Union
During last night’s State of the Union address, President Trump honored Sage Blair—a young teen from Virginia who allegedly sustained severe physical and mental trauma when her school indoctrinated her into believing she was male without her parents’ knowledge.
Sage Blair’s case centers on allegations that school officials chose to treat Sage as a male without notifying or involving her parents. This gravely jeopardized Sage’s safety and welfare, causing her to run away and fall prey to sex-traffickers. These claims remain the subject of ongoing litigation.
By honoring Sage, the President acknowledges a dangerous national problem: schools indoctrinating students with the dangerous belief that they are trapped in the wrong body and withholding this information from their parents.
Major Hospital In Manhattan Is Closing Its Gender Clinic
Major New York hospital, NYU Langone Health, announced it is ending its Transgender Youth Health Program, citing leadership changes and an increase in federal regulations under the Trump administration.
The hospital said it will continue offering pediatric mental health support but will no longer provide chemical or surgical interventions for minors. This is a significant move for NYU, which is known for taking a very liberal stance related to gender ideology.
