Allies and friends,

The White House continues to defund initiatives that support transgender research, redirecting resources to support studies on ‘regret’ in individuals who have undergone surgical and chemical interventions. While it’s hard to believe the NIH can conduct this research without bias, additional evidence may help challenge those who manipulate children into these procedures.

Children need to be treated with compassion and receive careful counseling, as they cannot make appropriate decisions on their own—leading to regret after irreversible harm is done.

To this end, the Kentucky legislature overturned Governor Beshear’s veto of House Bill 495, reinstating what they call ‘conversion therapy,’ which had previously been banned by the governor’s executive order. This ruling also prohibits the use of Medicaid funds for any transgender interventions in the state.

Meanwhile, in Colorado, the House passed a bill that would remove children from parents’ custody for using incorrect pronouns or ‘misgendering’ and ‘deadnaming,’ labeling these actions as forms of child abuse. This bill passed with more than double the votes in support.

This is why our work in defending against transgender ideology at the state level remains crucial every day.

Note: The term ‘conversion therapy’ is a misleading term commonly used by supporters of transgender ideology. It refers to counseling or therapy aimed at helping a child or adult struggling with gender dysphoria reaffirm their true biological sex.

Sincerely,

White House Directs NIH to Study ‘Regret in Transitioners

Along with cutting more than $180 million in research that supports transgender ideology, the Trump administration has directed NIH to focus on studying regret in individuals that have undergone chemical or surgical mutilation. This includes studies aimed at understanding the reasons behind continued dissatisfaction following ‘transition.’

NIH ‘experts’ worry that this research could negatively impact transgender audiences, claiming that less than 1% experience regret—despite data suggesting otherwise.

Kentucky’s ‘Conversion Therapy’ Veto Overturned

On March 27, the Kentucky legislature overturned Democratic Governor Andy Beshear’s veto of House Bill 495.

This legislation reinstates the misleadingly called ‘conversion therapy’—counseling that helps a child reaffirm one’s biological sex—effectively reversing the governor’s earlier executive order that had banned access for minors.

Additionally, this prohibits the use of Medicaid funds for transgender interventions in the state of Kentucky.

Colorado Passes Bill Labeling ‘Misgendering’ as Child Abuse

On Sunday, Colorado passed House Bill 1312, that would remove children from parents’ custody for acts of ‘misgendering’ and ‘deadnaming,’ referring to these as a form of child abuse.

‘It’s codifying into law that if their ideology confuses your child, and you don’t affirm that delusion, you’re committing child abuse and can lose custody of your child,’ rightly stated Rep. Jarvis Caldwell.
